THE QUILTED BOUTIQUE Website Terms of Use Effective September 2026
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of The Quilted Boutique website and work together with the policies applicable to purchases made through our store.
By using the website, you agree to use it lawfully and responsibly.
PURCHASE POLICIES
Purchases are also governed by the policies applicable to the particular transaction, including our Store Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy, Pre-Orders, Special Orders & Custom Orders Policy, Block of the Month Program Policy and Privacy Policy. Where a product listing contains terms specific to that product or program, those specific terms form part of the purchase information and should be reviewed before checkout.
PRICES & CURRENCY
Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices displayed by The Quilted Boutique are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Customers using a non-Canadian payment method may experience currency conversion, foreign-transaction charges, or exchange-rate differences determined by their financial institution or payment provider. Those third-party amounts are not retained by The Quilted Boutique.
PRODUCT INFORMATION & IMAGES
We make reasonable efforts to present product descriptions, dimensions, quantities, inclusions, and photographs accurately. Colors can appear differently depending on screens, lighting, and device settings. Where exact fabric, color, print placement, or other characteristics are material to a purchase, customers should review the listing carefully and contact us before ordering if clarification is required.
Product photographs
styled images, or examples may show props, backing, notions, or other items for presentation. Only items expressly identified as included in the listing are included in the purchase. QUILTING & HANDCRAFTED PRODUCTS Fabric is a textile product, and minor variations in printing, dye lots, scale, placement, or appearance may occur Pattern placement on cut fabric may also vary from product photography.
Handmade, custom-cut, curated, and prepared products may have characteristics inherent to individually prepared textile goods. These characteristics do not by themselves constitute a defect.
TYPOGRAPHICAL, PRICING & LISTING ERRORS
Occasionally, a website may contain an obvious typographical, technical, pricing, quantity, or description error. If we discover a material error affecting an order, we may contact the customer to explain the error and provide an appropriate opportunity to confirm, correct, or resolve the transaction. We will not knowingly rely on an obvious error to mislead a customer. Nothing in this section removes rights that can not legally be waived.
INVENTORY & AVAILABILITY
Inventory availability may change and is not guaranteed merely because a product page remains visible. Pre-orders, BOTMs, and special-order merchandise are subject to the specific supplier, allocation, and estimated-timing provisions disclosed in their applicable policies and listings.
CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining the confidentiality of credentials used to access their customer account. Please notify The Quilted Boutique if you believe your customer account has been used without authorization.
WEBSITE MISUSE
You may not use the website to engage in unlawful activity, interfere with website operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, submit knowingly false information, impersonate another person, or use automated or abusive methods that materially disrupt the store or its services.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Quilted Boutique's original website text, branding, logos, graphics, photographs, and other original content are protected by applicable intellectual property rights. Content owned by fabric manufacturers, designers, pattern publishers, or other third parties remains the property of its respective owner and is used subject to applicable permissions, licenses, or lawful purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit The Quilted Boutique's original content without authorization except as permitted by law.
PATTERNS & COPYRIGHTED MATERIALS
Patterns, books, digital files, and other copyrighted products are sold or supplied subject to the rights of their respective copyright owners. Purchasing a pattern does not transfer the copyright or grant permission to reproduce or redistribute it except as authorized by the rights holder or law.
REVIEWS, MESSAGES & CUSTOMER CONTENT
If you submit a review, message, form or other content to The Quilted Boutique, you are responsible for ensuring that it is lawful and does not knowingly infringe another person's rights. We may moderate or remove content from areas we control where reasonably necessary for spam, fraud, unlawful content, abuse, privacy, security, or website administration. This does not prevent customers from exercising lawful consumer rights or raising legitimate concerns.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Our website and transactions may interact with third-party services, including Wix, payment processors such as square inc, afterpay, and or paypal,
couriers such as UPS, Canpar, Puroloator, and other service providers. Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy practices. The Quilted Boutique is not responsible for a third party's independent website, systems, or policies, subject to obligations that applicable law places on us.
WEBSITE AVAILABILITY
We work to keep the website available and accurate, but uninterrupted access can not be guaranteed. Maintenance, technical problems, service-provider outages, or other circumstances may temporarily affect availability. We may update, modify, or discontinue website features where it is reasonably necessary.
FRAUD, PAYMENT DISPUTES & RECORDS
We may retain and use appropriate transaction records to prevent or investigate suspected fraud, respond to payment disputes and protect legitimate business interests, as described in our Privacy Policy and applicable purchase policies. A payment-provider decision does not itself rewrite the underlying product description or store terms, although payment-provider rules and applicable law may provide independent rights or remedies.
LIMITATION & CONSUMER RIGHTS
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability, rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited. To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Quilted Boutique is not responsible for indirect losses caused solely by third-party services, website interruptions or circumstances outside our reasonable control where the law permits such a limitation.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms as our website, business practices or legal requirements change. The effective date shown at the top identifies the published version. For completed purchases, we may retain the product listing, policy and acknowledgement records applicable at the time of purchase.
