Flower blocks have always been one of my favorite blocks to design and interpret and I think a large part of that stems from the fact that I would really love to spend more time in the garden. Spiky Rose is my vision of a late summer garden in full bloom, each flower showcasing a new color combination. Blocks are pieced on a variety of low-volume and color backgrounds for a wonderful "mix and match" scrappy quilt! Build your own blooms and leaves and watch your garden grow. Perfect as a quilt or a smaller version in a table runner.
